Cafe Hunting: Upland Kafe, Silang, Cavite

Upland Cafe is a cozy coffee shop at the back of a gasoline station along Silang highway. The main structure is a container van. Then, the rest of the area are tents for outdoor dining. It is a simple setup and I find it relaxing.

Since al fresco is the thing nowadays, the Upland Kafe is like a safe haven early in the morning. There are very few customers.

They have a short menu. Just coffee, tea and snacks.

I like their grilled cheese sandwich and caramel macchiato. Their chocolate chip cookies are too sweet but I still buy them for take out. I just eat half a cookie at a time.

This is my go to place after a morning bike ride. There are very few diners early in the morning. But it can be full in the afternoon especially after sundown.
