Cafe Hunting: Simple Place Cafe, Tagaytay

For a change, I looked for a local cafe in Tagaytay after a bike trip. Luckily, the Simple Place Cafe was open as early at 8:00 AM!

The place is cozy. The café is arrange like a typical home. Large tables for gatherings. Family photos hanging on the wall. Plants and books all over the interior. Wide windows on all sides. Handwritten notes on the tables. It felt like home.

There are few choices in the menu. The food are mostly Filipino food like tapa, bangus, and bulalo. But since it was early morning, I ordered their buttermilk pancakes and coffee for a meat-free breakfast.

I left the place with a smile on my face. At the same time, it made me miss my family back in Negros. I’ll be looking looking forward to a family al fresco breakfast back in the farm. Soon.

Simple Place Cafe is located at Tolentino West, Tagaytay, Cavite. It is near Starbucks in Tagaytay-Calamba Road.
