Aide 1000 Pro LCD is an entry-level UPS capable of providing back up power for your basic home offices during power interruptions. A laptop and a wifi router can last for about 15 minutes more when connected to the Aide 1000 Pro LCD. That is just enough to send those important emails before your workstation goes dark.

Compact Design
Entry level UPS have small battery capacity so the battery size is small too. This is just enough for a a few minutes of extra power. It only weighs about 5.4 kilograms.
Compared to other UPS brands, the Aide 1000 Pro LCD has a tower design making it more compact and fits on the little corner of your workstation. No need to rearrange things to make it fit.
LCD Display
The LCD Display shows the operation of the UPS. It is either as an IN or OUT. It also shows the battery level and the Load. A voltage reading is also shown
I like this feature because it gives me assurance that the Aide 1000 Pro LCD is working properly. Other UPS just provide an LED bulb that changes colors to signify it’s operation. The Aide 1000 provides better information with the LCD.
Extra 15 Minutes
The Aide 1000 Pro LCD needs about 8 hours of initial charge. After that a full charge can last about 15 minutes using a desktop computer and a modem. The operation time can vary depending on the load. I suggest that you just plug the essential gadgets only. There are 4 AC outlets available. Personally, I only use 2 outlet for the wifi router and PC.

The Aide 1000 Pro is a cheaper UPS. It is very useful for home office setup and fits in the budget. I find the LCD Display an important feature. It makes me at ease to know that the UPS is working properly.
