Huawei Freebuds Lipstick Earphones Review
Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is an elegantly designed earphones intended for females. My wife loves red and this instantly matches her taste in color. The design is ultra-chic and innovative. The sound quality is good but the ANC is a bit weak. Overall, the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is a gift that will truly impress the receiver.

Design
The charging case of the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is unconventional but beautifully executed. It does look like a lipstick and opens like a lipstick. The red color of the earbuds really captures the vibrant red color of a lipstick.
The case is magnetic so the removable portion will not easily fall off. The surface is prone to fingerprints though but it is scratch resistant. It is made of smooth polished metal and will feel heavy if you are use to plastic charging cases.
The earbuds have the usual stem design which is nothing new. It weighs just about 4 grams. They are very light and comfortable. My wife prefers this design over an in-ear TWS.
The ads for the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick says that the box is scented. It was not noticeable so I was a bit disappointed with that promise.
Connectivity and Controls
Huawei Freebuds Lipstick connects fast and seamlessly with any device. We tried it both for iOS and Andriod phones and it pairs almost instantly. Once paired, it automatically connects the next time you open the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick.
The Freebuds Lisptick is touch controlled. Music and calls can be control by tapping the stem part of the earbuds. Swipe up and down adjusts the volume. The ANC can also be enabled by pressing and holding the stem.
The touch sensitivity is quite high but I think it is just similar to most touch controlled earbuds. At least, there is no control for a single tap. Accidentally touching the earbuds does nothing to the controls.
Sound Quality
The Huawei Freebuds Lipsticks are not just about good looks. The sound quality is good. It is balanced and pleasant. Since the ear are not fully covered, the noise from the surroundings can subdue the music from the earbuds. The ANC from the Huawei Lipstick can cancel some of the noise but I feel that they are not enough.
The voice quality for calls are excellent and the microphone delivers clear audio for calls. They are well recommended for video calls since they don’t feel heavy even after 2 hours of use.
Battery Life
Battery life for the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is decent at 4 Hours without the ANC. It goes a little over 3 hours when I first charged it at 100%. With the ANC turned on, the Huawei Lipstick can last up to 2.5 hours according to the specs.
To charge, it uses a standard USB-C cable to be inserted at the bottom of the charging case. The charging case can provide up to 20 hours of additional listening pleasure.
Huawei Freebuds Lipstick Review Summary
Huawei Freebuds Lipstick design is chic and fashionable. Sound quality is very good for listening to music and for taking calls. The earbud design is very comfortable. However, the ANC can block some noise but not that significant. I find the price of 11,999 PHP to be expensive but luckily, I got them at a preorder price of 7,999 PHP. Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is a great gift for those special occassions.
Where to Buy
The Huawei Freebuds Lipstick is available at the Huawei Official Store at Shopee and Lazada. The SRP is at 11,999 PHP. It goes on sale for 1,000-2,000 PHP less than the SRP. I got mine for a gift during the pre selling period for only 7,999 PHP.
