Design
The Soundcore Liberty Neo looks premium with its glossy finish on the charging case. The earbuds themselves are light to hold and fit securely on the ear. I like the fact that it comes with a set of earbud fins. It doesn’t come off the ear easily for any workout activity.
However, the Liberty Neo looks big compared to other earbuds. After a while, they feel uncomfortable to the ear. I wear them for two hours tops. I won’t recommend them if you have small ears.
Sound Quality
The sound is very good. I find it well-balanced. It has a punchy bass and a clarity on the vocals. I enjoy listening to a wide genre of music with the Soundcore Liberty Neo.
Charging Case
The charging case is one of the largest among the TWS devices I have tried. But it is still portable and quite nice and smooth to handle. My only complain is that it still uses the Micro USB port instead of the USB-C. I don’t like bringing an extra cable just for 1 device.
Music Controls
The Soundcore Liberty Neo uses a button on both buds to control the device. You may need to press it a bit hard. Sometimes, I prefer a physical button for the music controls like in the Liberty Neo. It avoids accidental touches that can pause the music or end a call.
Battery Life
Battery life is rated at just 3.5 hours. Based on my actual use it was close to 4 hours. Still, this is way below the normal 5 hours of battery life of most wireless earbuds. Anyway, I don’t recommend it to be worn for more than 2 hours.
Soundcore Liberty Neo Review Summary
The Soundcore Liberty Neo gives you quality sound for a lesser price. It has a premium look and connects fast with the phone. The earbuds get uncomfortable though, so don’t wear them too long.
