Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer Review
Since it has been raining lately, I would sometimes arrive home wet from a run or a bike ride. The biggest problem is getting my shoes dry so I can use them again. The Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer is a clever device that continuously blows hot air into the shoe. It helps dry my shoes quickly in a matter of hours. It has timer settings and other functions like ozone care. With the Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer, I can be sure of clean and dry shoes for my next run.
Simple to Use
Using the Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer is easy. There are three buttons. One button for the power, another for the timer, and the last button for the mode settings.
To use the shoe dryer, you should first put the mouth of the collapsible tube inside the shoes. Then, choose the timer and the mode. Finally, just press the Power button to start drying your shoes.
The timer gives me peace of mind that the Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer is safe to use. Without the timer, it might continually blow air until you turn it off manually. This can lead to overheating which can cause accidents at home.
The size of the device is small. It can be easy placed on a side after use.
It’s getting hot in here
Since the shoe dryer blows hot air, the temperature inside the room will increase. So try place them in a bigger room or where there is enough ventilation.
I also find the collapsible tube too flimsy. It looks fragile. By collapsing and retracting it often might damage the tubes in the long run. Just be careful when pulling the tubs out and back to the device.
It is not as silent as you wish it could be. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner with a lower volume. It’s not that bad.
Dry anything
With the generated hot air, the Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer can dry other things aside from shoes. I can use it to dry socks, arm sleeves and underwear 😁. I can also use it to dry my feet after a bath.
The hot air can even act as an air warmer. Like a mini fireplace. That is a great function in this cold weather.
By setting it at Ozone, the Deerma HX20 works as an ozone generator to help reduce the odor.

I selected the Deerma HX20 model when I shopped online but it seems like I got the Deerma HX10 model based on the label of the actual item. I am not sure what is the difference between the Deerma HX10 and the Deerma HX20. They looks the same in photos and there is no difference in their specification from the seller’s description. But they are priced differently.
Where to buy
I bought the Deerma HX20 Shoe Dryer for 1,169 PHP. The Deerma HX10 Shoe Dryer is cheaper and they don’t seem to have any difference in specifications or functions.
